We have a wish list: Call it a writer’s collective.
We are looking for authors in the areas of: personal finance, alternative health, ayurveda, yoga, nutrition, zen habits, running, personal training, GTD, things mac, lifehacking, twitter, computing tips, psychology of money, behavioral finance, economics 101, and LA local Food, LA tech/social Calendar.
The mission? Combine a group of 10-20 fresh, compelling voices who have anywhere from zero followers to 50k uniques– join them together to create something special and unique.
Our goal? 1 million hits a month. Big? Hairy? Audacious? Yep.
What’s in it for the writer?
- they receive a larger push back to their site because the sum total of our efforts is stronger than any one.
- Together, everyone commands a bigger ad rate in aggregated form.
- And of course, there’s the love of writing.
But wait!, There’s more: we want to split ALL of the revenues with the contributors. Frankly, we do not want any money from this operation. It’s not rocket science, we want the eye balls for different reasons. We want to affect change. We need/want your content because we seek to be a valued source of content for our friends and fans. We are creating a different culture, we want to change Wall Street.
Some of the gross revenue from this project will also go to local charities, as voted on by the collective of writers. Think: agents of change.
